The development would be based on the current process, alongside a full UX process review including workshops, flow maps and API diagrams. We worked with the client and customer in workshops, mapping out each available user flow from a frontend point of view using Lucidcharts. Once the user flows were defined, we worked with the current .gov Design System resources and styleguides and using Protopie, worked up each user flow as working prototypes. These included the purchasing process, user account management and feedback.

Working with the ongoing backend development, we developed the frontend including user application, API calls, shopping cart and transaction processing, hosted on the clients Microsoft Azure environment.
